[Eng Ver] Comparation Ten Miles Of Peach blossom VS Heavy Sweetness Ash-Like Frost

For you XianXia lovers, surely  you still remember with Eternal Love aka Ten Miles Peach Blossom (TMOPB) right?, Last year this drama successfully exploded. Previously there was still nothing that could match TMOPB, both in terms of storyline and setting, but it seems that this time TMOPB has found a comparable rival yups Heavy Sweetness, Ash Like-Frost. This time I wants to eXplore about the similarities and differences between both of them.

Settings

Ashes Of Love which has a story setting similar to TMOPB, such as the existence of Heaven Realm, Demon Realm, Punishment Terrace for immortals, Redemption for Immortals to be born to earth as ordinary humans (mortal) and etc. Both of them use beautiful and eye catching CGI effects.

Character & Character Development

                         

Main Female character in this drama almost have similar character. cheerful, bright, naïve, hyperactive and childish at the beginning, but then change to become more mature as the story goes. When undergoing Redemption in the human world Bai Qian (Su Su) has a completely different character from his immortal character, while Jin Mi has the exact same character as her when she becomes an Immortal.

    

As for the male Lead ... yups Ye Hua and Xu Feng, They were both prince of the kingdom of heaven, intelligent in various ways and have big power, Ye Hua is a immortal dragon while Xu Feng was Phoenix. But there is an interesting difference for me, Ye Hua, a character who always wears black clothes (except in the last episode). In the beginning, he had a very cold character but since the tragedy that happened in Zu Xian terrace and when he finally met Bai Qian again he was able to change his character to be warmer. Contrary to Xu Feng's character, at the beginning Xu Feng was a friendly, gentle, kind and cheerful character but all changed 180 degrees since the "tragedy" happened. Besides that he always wears white clothes and changes into dark clothes  when he becomes a Demon Lord * but he looks so damn Hot in dark style hahaha

Storyline & Climax

Both of these dramas begin with a slow flow, but still interesting and intriguing to follow. There is also a story when They live in the mortal world. for this part the I prefers the mortal story at TMOPB, because this is where they meet for the first time and the beginning of all misunderstandings, when he comes down into the world of mortal Ye Hua knows himself while Su Su does not. Whereas in HSALF Xu Feng and Jin Mi were both born from babies and did not have any memories of their true selves, so it took many episodes before they finally returned to being immortal, it was like watching a story in a story.

Second Lead Story

Feng Jiu-DongHua in TMOPB

LuiYing-MuCi in HSALF

In this part they really have similarities, but this time it was really subjective from My glasses, this drama has a second lead story that too long and boring for me. FengJiu-DongHua couple and LiuYing-MuCi couple, even though both actually have a story that is quite interesting but their scene always my hands itchy for skip their story, so the story moves faster to the main story. But there are a lot of people out there who are the second lead story lovers especially FengJiu-DongHua’s story. Yeah maybe this is not my cup of tea.

Many fans of dramas that compare these two dramas. Well actually that's not important, they have their strength. and the most important thing is that both of them have managed to fill our free time to be more colorful, and especially having succeeded in making us smile and cry . So How About You? Do you prefer TMOPB or HSALF or you confused and can't decide. Just Like me?
